Balonne Shire Flood Recovery
This flood recovery project saw the reconstruction of 111 kilometres of road network across the Thallon, Mungindi, and Dirranbandi regions. Leveraging its regional expertise and agile project delivery model, Everest Civil supplied and placed over 17,200 tonnes of gravel to reinstate road surfaces to council standards.

SCOPE
- Reconstruction of 111 km of road
- Supply and placement of 17,200 tonnes of gravel
- Deployment of two grader crews
EXECUTION
The deployment of two dedicated grader crews enabled Everest Civil to maintain momentum across multiple sites, ensuring works were delivered efficiently and in alignment with community needs. Through planning, experienced team, and reliable plant, we remain committed to rebuilding safer, more resilient roads for the Balonne Shire community. In response to the damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Kirrily and associated rainfall, Everest Civil is proud to be working with Balonne Shire Council on another flood recovery project.
