Everest Civil partnered with Fulton Hogan & Urban Utilities to deliver the Cannery Creek Flood Recovery Project as part of Toowoomba Regional Council’s wider resilience program. This $5.8M package of works involved large-scale bulk earthworks, drainage improvements, and environmental management measures to restore community safety and reduce future flood impacts.



SCOPE
- Bulk excavation, fill placement, and ground re-profiling
- Construction of drainage channels, culverts, and creek diversions
- Installation of erosion and sediment control measures
- Pavement and access upgrades to maintain site functionality
- Traffic management to minimise disruption
- Environmental monitoring and compliance with recovery standards
- Final restoration and landscaping to integrate with the natural environment
EXECUTION

We delivered bulk excavation, fill placement, and ground reprofiling to the highest standards, along with drainage channels, culverts, and creek diversions that enhanced site resilience.
