Everest Civil has been commissioned by Fulton Hogan to complete sewer augmentation works at the Virginia Branch, Northgate.

SCOPE

  • Installation of Bidim underlay and rock protection to Sediment Basins 1 & 2 inlets and outlets.
  • Construction of 11 RCP and RCBC culverts, including inlet and outlet precast headwalls with Bidim underlay and rock protection, directing localized stormwater into Cannery Creek.
  • Construction of a cast‑in‑situ (3.0m x 1.2m x 2.5m) stormwater pit tying into the existing DN1050 stormwater pipe.
  • Construction of a cast‑in‑situ (3.1m x 2.1m x 4.2m) Wetland Inlet Pit and roof slab connecting the new rising main to the wetland basin.
  • Construction of two uPVC culverts with inlet and outlet precast headwalls, Bidim underlay, and rock protection, directing water from the wetland diversion drain and settling pond into the surrounding wetland area.
  • Construction of a cast‑in‑situ (1.2m x 1.2m x 1.7m) Wetland Riser Pit.
  • Construction of two cast‑in‑situ concrete weirs between the wetland and bioretention basins.
  • Construction of two cast‑in‑situ (1.5m x 1.5m x 1.7m) Bioretention Basin Riser Pits with hinged dome-top covers.
  • Installation of a precast triple‑barrel headwall to suit 2 × DN600 and 1 × DN400 pipes, directing flow from the wetland and bioretention basin riser pits to a concrete‑lined outlet swale drain.

At the current stage of project delivery, Everest Civil has combined advanced equipment and skilled operators with efficient project management and a strong commitment to quality and safety. The project is being completed on-time and within budget.
