SCOPE
- Traffic provision and environmental management
- Construction surveying
- Drainage removal, demolition, and pavement drainage
- Earthworks, subgrade testing, treatment, and backfill
- Hand-placed concrete paving — 100mm (footpath), 175mm (driveways), 100mm black exposed infill
- Landscape and revegetation
- Pavement drainage
- Concrete kerb — Type 3 Barrier and CMDG Type 10 Flush
EXECUTION
Works were delivered concurrently alongside the Dunning Lane project, requiring careful sequencing and coordination to maintain traffic flow and minimise disruption to the surrounding area. Thornton Street demanded a broader programme, with environmental management and construction surveying underpinning a structured earthworks and subgrade treatment process before pavement drainage and varied concrete finishes were placed. Drainage, kerbing, and retaining structures were installed across both sites to deliver durable stormwater control and edge treatment. Works concluded with landscape and revegetation, leaving the sites reinstated to council standards.
