Toowoomba Flood Recovery
In response to severe flooding in the Toowoomba region, Everest Civil was entrusted with the Toowoomba TRC Flood Recovery Project. The project aims to restore and enhance the rural road network affected by the flood, ensuring safer and all‑weather access for the community.
Toowoomba Regional Council sought the expertise of Everest Civil to undertake the comprehensive reconstruction of the roads in strict compliance with the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) Treatment Guide 2020–2021.



SCOPE
- Reformation of rural roads according to Toowoomba Regional Council’s design requirements
- Application of imported crushed gravel for road re‑sheeting to improve durability and stability
- Reshaping and redesigning table drains to ensure effective water drainage and management
- Clearing debris and obstructions from table drains to prevent future blockages and maintain optimal functionality
EXECUTION
Drawing upon local capability, Everest Civil rapidly mobilised all essential plant and equipment to commence construction under an accelerated program. Meticulous planning, modern machinery, and the expertise of experienced plant operators ensured precise execution throughout the project.
